Flat-panel oak construction with tapered slab legs and deep burgundy velvet upholstery. Strong geometric form with clear Prairie School influence (Frank Lloyd Wright)– built to anchor a room, not blend into it.
Angular, low-slung, and solidly made. The wide flat armrests, beveled frame, and splayed trapezoidal base give it a distinctly architectural quality rooted in the Frank Lloyd Wright tradition. The burgundy velvet has a soft lived-in texture and is in pristine condition; the warm honey-oak tones keep it from reading as heavy.
